We all go into light hypnotic states every day of our lives. The trance state can be so natural some people tend to disbelieve that they have been hypnotized the first or second time it occurs. It can be a very subtle phenomenon and, at the same time, we all experience hypnosis differently so the sensations can vary from person to person.
The main difference between these types of trance that I just described and purposeful hypnosis is the lack of specific motivations and suggestions towards a goal.
Al lot of people think that hypnosis and self hypnosis are two completelly different things. Actually hypnosis and self-hypnosis are the same thing, or how some hypnotherapist say: all hypnosis is self hypnosis. The hypnotherapist is simply the facilitator, the person that helps you be in a determined state and the one that gives you the suggestions towards the goal you desire.
